Microsoft details Xbox Game Pass titles for console and for PC
Games with Gold goes live for September
App pick of the week: Firefox 69
Firefox 69 adds always-on enhanced tracking protection, more.
Enterprise pick of the week: Microsoft starts posting Ignite sessions
As of today, 466 of them are now listed on the Ignite site. And in stark contrast to recent Microsoft shows, “Windows” figures prominently in session titles and descriptions. 68 WIndows sessions so far, including some promising details on roadmaps/futures. 273 are listed as M365 sessions. Also surprising: Lots of developer-focused sessions.
Enterprise pick No. 2 of the week: VMWare and Microsoft make even nicer
VMware and Microsoft are working together so that VMWare Workstation at some point will support Hyper-V. This is not possible right now; VMWare Workstation doesn’t work when Hypver-V is enabled. (VMWare Workstation can host Linux or Windows in VMs).
Beer pick of the week: Jack’s Abby Barrel Aged Framinghammer S’mores
Summer’s not really over, but it’s not too early to start drinking big bad barrel-aged beers. Jack’s Abby from Framingham, Mass. Has a number of barrel-aged versions of its Framinghammer Baltic porter. The Smore’s one really does taste like marshmallow and graham crackers. A true 12% delight, no camping required.
