Amazon Isn’t Done Announcing New Hardware

Not too long ago, Amazon announced a plethora of new hardware. After all of those new products, you’d think Amazon is done for this year. But you’d be wrong.
Amazon just announced another new product: the 2018 Fire TV Stick. The updated Fire TV Stick is $10 more expensive than previous generations, but for the price hike, you are getting a lot of new things. And that includes support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, along with HDR10 and 4K support. Support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision will allow for greater picture quality, though you likely won’t notice a big difference.
Another big change with the updated Fire TV Stick is in the remote — it finally includes a power button and volume controls, which have long been a top request from many users. Amazon is also selling the new remote separately as it works with some of the other Fire TV products, so you can make use of the new power button and volume controls if you are willing to spend $29.99.
The new Fire TV Stick will be available for $49.99 and start shipping at the end of this month in North America. It will land in the UK on the 14th of November.
