Amazon has released a new Alexa app today. The company is introducing a major re-design for the Alexa app which makes things a lot more easier to use.

With today’s update, Amazon is making it so you can easily control all of your smart home devices right from the main Devices screen. What was previously a cumbersome tabbed-based UI is now being replaced with a much cleaner, easier to use interface. The updated design makes it way easier and quicker to switch between all the different types of smart home devices you may have, as well as all of the different grouped devices that can be controlled with a single tap.

The revamped Alexa app brings other enhancements,  such as the ability to enable Bluetooth speakers in multi-room music groups. It also gives users quick access to Alexa’s communication features like Drop In, Call, and Message, reports TechCrunch. The major revamp for the Alexa app comes just after Amazon launched a roster of new Alexa-powered devices. But if you already have a bunch of different Alexa-supported devices and smart home gadgets, this new update should make things a lot more pleasant to use.
