Apple's hot new 10.2-inch iPad is already on sale at a small but notable discount
Unlike the iPhone 11 lineup and Apple Watch Series 5, which are scheduled for a commercial release this Friday, the seventh-generation iPad will only start shipping on September 30. Of course, that hasn’t stopped Apple from accepting pre-orders immediately after the 10.2-incher’s official announcement at a reasonable price of $329 and up.
While the MSRP of the entry-level 32GB configuration has yet to budge at authorized third-party retailers, the 128 gig storage variant is already on sale at a decent $29 discount. We’re talking about the Wi-Fi-only slate running iPadOS out of the box on the software side of things, with three paint jobs available on Amazon for 29 bucks less than usual, equating to a small but notable 7 percent price cut.
That’s especially notable when you consider the latest non-Pro, non-Mini, and non-Air iPad model isn’t even technically out yet, not to mention Apple never lowers the prices of its hot new “iDevices” before launching an upgraded or refreshed version. Bottom line, this is the best deal currently available on the 10.2-inch iPad and it may well remain that way for a little while longer.
