Asus ROG Phone II real-world images leak out

And now, one of the most popular gaming phones out there, the Asus ROG Phone is allegedly getting a refresh soon. The Asus ROG Phone II will come with the newly announced Snapdragon 855 Plus chip by Qualcomm that will provide a 15% boost in graphics performance along with higher peak clock speeds for the CPU.
These images show that the ROG Phone II will more or less stick with the design of the original phone, but you do notice that the cutouts for the front-facing speakers are now smaller and not that noticeable, plus screen bezels are much smaller and we have a design with more rounded corners. Still, compared to recent flagships these leaked images show that the ROG Phone II will have noticeably larger bezels at the top and bottom.
On the screen, you can see that you will be able to pick between a traditional 60-hertz screen rate, as well as a 90Hz and 120Hz refresh rates for gaming. A 120-hertz display rate is even higher than the 90-hertz that you get on other popular phones like the OnePlus 7 Pro.
So when is the Asus ROG Phone II coming to the market? No one knows exactly, but considering that the original was unveiled in June of last year, we expect the official launch to happen very soon.
