Best Buy has the Verizon-locked Moto Z4 on sale for as little as $120 after $380 discount
The Moto Z4 might not be on par with the best high-end smartphones on the market today in terms of processing power (and a beefier Z4 Force is apparently not happening), but a bunch of early discounts and bundle deals are massively boosting the appeal of the modular upper mid-ranger.
Believe it or not, Best Buy will hook you up with an even better deal if you don’t have a problem agreeing to Verizon device payments. New subscribers and existing ones looking to add a new line of service are charged a measly $5 a month right now on a two-year agreement, bringing the $500 list price all the way down to 120 bucks. But wait, there’s more. You can cough up the exact same $120 upfront and activate the Moto Z4 on a new line or new Verizon account without having to commit to a lengthy monthly installment arrangement.
Finally, upgrading customers are treated to the same discount available directly through the nation’s largest wireless service provider. That means you can pay Best Buy $240 in one go or 24 installments of $10 a pop and activate the Z4 on an existing line of Verizon service.
While the Snapdragon 675-powered device may not justify its recommended price point, it certainly delivers more than enough bang for your buck at $120 or $240. You’re looking at an extra-large OLED display with a subtle notch, a generous 128 gigs of internal storage space, respectable 4 gigs of memory, competent 48MP single rear-facing camera, great battery life from a 3,600 mAh cell, trendy in-screen fingerprint scanner, and yes, even a headphone jack. Last but not least, the Moto Z4 is one of very few smartphones that can be used to access Verizon’s nascent 5G network by pairing it with a special Moto Mod (sold separately).
