Google Addresses Pixel 3 Performance Problems

Google has released a new update for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL to address performance problems on the devices. The company started rolling out the March 2019 update yesterday, introducing new security patches and a bunch of performance-related problems.
Android Police notes that Pixel 3 owners have been reporting various performance-related issues on the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, mostly to do with the camera. The camera app on the phone has apparently been slow to start up and respond, and Google claims the new update addresses these problems. This has been a major sore point for many Pixel 3 owners, so the update was much-needed from a user’s point-of-view.
The company has also improved storage performance on the devices, which should improve the speed of the devices in general. Some users are claiming that the read/write speeds on the devices were slowed down with the previous update, causing the devices to be sluggish.
The company says the new updates also improve Bluetooth reliability and playback of encrypted media on some video apps and improved recovery capability when over-the-air updates fail.
