Google Brings Its Instant Apps Tech to Games on Play Store

Google is bringing instant games to the Play Store today. The company first introduced Instant Apps in the Play Store last year, and it’s bringing the same tech to select games today.
Instant games work just like you’d expect: you can try out a light version of a game almost instantly without needing to download and install the entire game on your phone. TechCrunch reports that evelopers get up to 10MB per instant game, which should be big enough for most mobile games. For now, only 6 games provide an instant version of the full game, but that’s something which will increase as Google works with more developers to bring support for the feature.
Google is also making changes to its Play Games app to help users better developer games. The new instant games are launching today on the Google Play Store as well as the Play Games app, and you can find a list of all the 6 games that support the tech here.
