Besides the new dark theme, Google also added improved sleep charts, which means users will be able to track their sleep patterns along with all other activities they do throughout the day. Furthermore, users can add, edit or access their sleep history through the journal.

Last but not least, Google is bringing map routes to the iPhone app, a feature that is already available on Android devices. This will allow iOS users to see a summary of their workouts actively tracked on their Wear OS smartwatches, Apple Watch or other connected apps along with a map of their routes.

According to Google, all the new features and improvements announced today will be rolled out to Android and iOS devices over the next week.
