Halo Infinite to Release Next Year With Xbox Scarlett

After Microsoft took the wraps off its next-gen Project Scarlett console, it had one more surprise in store for fans: Halo Infinite. The next instalment to the Halo franchise brings back the Master Cheif, and it will launch along with Microsoft’s next Xbox console in 2020.
Powered by the new Slipspace Engine, Microsoft claims the new Halo title takes the popular franchise in “ambitious, unexpected” directions. “The Master Chief returns in 2020 when Halo Infinite releases globally with Project Scarlett. This next chapter in 343 Industries’ legendary Halo franchise invites players to join the venerable Master Chief on an all-new adventure as he uncovers the mysteries surrounding the appearance of The Pilot and the desolate remains of a Halo ring. Halo Infinite is powered by the studio’s next-generation Slipspace Engine,” the company explained.
