Microsoft Revamps Skype on the Web

Microsoft is introducing the new Skype design on the web today. The company is bringing Skype’s modern design to Skype for Web. The company first previewed the new experience a few months ago, and it’s now bringing the update to everyone.
The new Skype for Web introduces the new Skype design that we have seen on Skype for Desktop and Skype Mobile. The new update brings HD video calling and call recording capabilities as well.
The updated design introduces a new notifications panel and a new chat media gallery that makes it easier to find links, photos, and files shared within your conversations.
Most of everything else is basically the same — this is mostly about the new design to help Skype for Web’s experience be consistent with Skype on other platforms. The new experience is available on the latest versions of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge on devices with Windows 10 and macOS 10.12 or newer.
Thanks for the tip, Mohammad!
