Microsoft Ships Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15235 to the Fast Ring

Windows 10 Fall Creators Update testing may be winding down, but Microsoft isn’t done adding new features. Today’s new build, 15235, adds the Phone settings interface that Microsoft showed off at Build, plus some other new functionality.
Note: You may recall that Microsoft this week announced that Insider can choose to “skip ahead” to Redstone 4 testing. For this one build, testers who made that choice will get the same RS3-level build as do normal Fast ring testers. –Paul
Here’s what’s new.
Phone settings. A new top-level Settings interface called Phone lets you link your Android smartphone to your PC. (Microsoft says that iPhone support is coming soon, too.) This link will help enable or improve some of the cross-device experiences the software giant has been promoting, including the ability to continue a mobile-based web browsing session on your PC and vice-versa. This looks interesting and will require a closer look.
Cortana improvements. In this build, Cortana will now display web-based results directly in its own user interface and not require you to open a web browser. You can also use Cortana voice commands to lock, sign-out of, shutdown, or reboot your PC (e.g. “Hey Cortana, restart PC” and so on).
Boot improvements. You can now configure Windows Update to use your sign-in information to automatically finish installing updates and configuring the PC after a reboot. This will help you sign-in faster and will restore your accessibility applications, Microsoft says. And, yes, you can opt out of this.
Other improvements. Microsoft Edge, PC gaming, the touch keyboard, and other features received minor updates in this build. Additionally, there are various changes, improvements, and fixes, plus a few known issues. Including, notably, that Storage Spaces will not work correctly if you’ve been installing each build in turn.
