Microsoft announced its latest Redstone 5 build today, Windows 10 Insider Preview build 17686. It’s available to those in the Fast ring.

Here’s what’s new.

Improved region support. A new Region page in Settings lets you override to default regional format settings such as Calendar, First day of the week, Dates, Times, and Currency. You can also access Local Experience Packs more easily, using the Languages page in Settings.

Privacy improvements. When your microphone is disabled in Privacy settings, a pop-up notification will appear the first time you attempt to use it.

Windows Mixed Reality improvements. You no longer need to be attached to a physical display, which is ideal for backpack gaming PCs. And apps can now capture images of the mixed reality world using the system capture experience.
