Motorola One Zoom is official: four cameras, 10x hybrid zoom, on sale today

The Motorola One franchise, unlike the Moto G series, is non-generational. Each device is developed with a clean slate and isn’t necessarily meant to replace an existing model. So far this year, Motorola has introduced the One Vision and One Action but today the Chicago-based brand has introduced its most ambitious device yet – the Motorola One Zoom.
Cameras for every scenario, light-up Motorola logo!
Giving the phone its unique name is the impressive zoom system found on the rear. Motorola uses an 8-megapixel sensor paired with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a telephoto lens to achieve solid shots at 3x zoom. If this isn’t sufficient, the smartphone also offers a 10x hybrid zoom feature which combines 3x optical zoom with data from the remaining three cameras to achieve a higher quality photo at that zoom level.
Notched display, Snapdragon processor, lots of storage
Turning the Motorola One Zoom over reveals a 6.4-inch OLED Max Vision (19:9) display. The panel offers an impressive 85% screen-to-body ratio made possible by the ‘u-notch’ above and a Full-HD+ (2340 x 1080p) resolution. It’s also coupled with an in-screen fingerprint scanner and some pretty decent internals.
Like Motorola’s Moto Z4 which was released back in June, the One Zoom is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675. This is accompanied by a decent 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable internal storage in addition to a large 4,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging via the included power brick.
Other features include a USB-C port, a speaker on top of the phone, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 4G LTE connectivity, and dual-SIM support.
