Movies Anywhere Comes to Xfinity

The Movies Anywhere service has added Xfinity as a new partner. So customers of this U.S.-based cable provider can now access their cross-service purchased movie content from their cable TV interface.
“Once you connect your Xfinity account to Movies Anywhere, your eligible movies purchased from participating Movies Anywhere digital retailers will become available through Xfinity,” the Xfinity announcement explains. And your Xfinity digital movie purchases will also be available in Movies Anywhere and through other participating synced digital retailers. It’s one library, accessible at home or on the go, at any time.”
That, of course, is the central benefit of Movies Anywhere. Today, the service works with movies from five major movies studios, Sony, Twentieth Century Fox Film, Universal, Walt Disney, and Warner Bros. And it works across Amazon Prime Video, Apple iTunes, FandangoNow, Google Play Movies & TV and YouTube, Microsoft Movies & TV, Vudu, and, now, Xfinity too.
