Tips and picks
Tip of the week: Xbox One S with two controllers bundle
App pick of the week: Microsoft To-Do
Now with faster mobile sync and a new design on the web
Also: A tip of sorts: To-do or calendar event? One way to differentiate.
Enterprise pick of the week: Azure DevOps
Goodbye VSTS. Hello Azure DevOps. Also: There’s a new GitHub pull request extension available now for you VS Code users.
Codename pick of the week: Kusto
Kusto seems to be the perpetual codename for Azure Log Analytics, a service beloved by a number of Microsoft teams obsessed with telemetry data. Will it become more and/or get more of a marketing push soon?
Beer pick of the week: Boulevard Brewing Tank 7
It’s technically fall here in these parts, so time for some more fallish beers. I tend to think of saisons and farmhouse ales as these kinds of beer. Boulevard Brewing (Kansas City, Mo.) makes an excellent farmhouse ale called Tank 7. Has that fruity profile of a Belgian saison, but also some nice hops and peppery flavors.
