Outlook Getting Shared Mailbox Support on Phones

Microsoft is soon going to bring one of Outlook’s popular features, Shared Mailboxes, to mobile devices. Shared Mailbox allows users to share a mailbox between themselves, so you can essentially have an inbox that used by more than one person. And that’s particularly useful in small teams, or for business accounts.
Shared Mailbox has been available on Outlook on the desktop for a while, and Microsoft is finally bringing it to mobile devices. Michael Palermiti, the head of product for Outlook on iOS, tweeted last night that the company has started testing Shared Mailbox support for Outlook on iOS:
Pssst. Hey, I’ve got some exciting news for our enterprise customers… *Shared Mailbox* support is now in TestFlight for @Outlook for iOS! ?
We need your help to try it out and give us feedback. And before anyone asks, yes, Android support is not far behind! ? pic.twitter.com/2RJG00rPSD

The feature is available to those part of the Outlook TestFlight program, and you can add a Shared Mailbox simply by going to the Add Account section from the settings of the app.
As for Android support, Palermiti wrote that support for Shared Mailbox isn’t far behind, so that should be arriving soon, too. Microsoft usually has pretty good feature parity between Outlook on iOS and Outlook on Android, so don’t be too worried if Shared Mailbox support takes a little while to arrive for your Android device.
