As part of its quarterly earnings report this week, Sony revealed that sales of its PlayStation 4 consoles have continued growing year-over-year. And the firm has now sold 67.5 million units.

Sony’s PS4 sales figures come from a supplemental information document related to the earnings. There, we learn the following:

Sony sold 4.2 million PS4 consoles in the quarter, up from 3.9 million in the same quarter a year ago. That’s also the most console sales it’s seen in the past year and a half, not including the holiday 2016 quarter (when it sold 9.7 million units).

Doing a little math, we know that Sony had sold 63.3 million PS4 consoles through the previous quarter. So when you add 4.4 million to that, you get 67.5 million total PS4 console sales.

Pretty impressive. Also, you may recall that Sony recently revealed that it has sold over 1 million PlayStation VR kits, which makes it one of the most popular VR platforms on earth too.
