Samsung Galaxy S10 series sales are 31% higher in one European market
Samsung struggled to sell its usual number of flagship smartphones last year, but this year’s a totally different story for the South Korean company, especially in the Netherlands.
An impressive 100,000 units in just three months
Samsung didn’t break down the figures by model – past trends indicate the Galaxy S10+ is the most popular – but it did shed some light on which colors are the favorites. Specifically, it revealed that a whopping 50,000 units (50%) featured the Prism Black finish, while a further 20,000 devices (20%) carried the Prism White-colored rear. In a close third place was Prism Green with sales of 18,000 units (18%).
Samsung could ship 45 million units this year
It’s unclear how the devices have performed in other countries but Samsung reportedly experienced strong pre-order demand for the trio in both the UK and Brazil, in addition to many other markets. By early May, the Galaxy S10 series had also reportedly generated sales between 120% and 130% higher than those of the Galaxy S9 lineup in China, an impressive achievement considering the brand’s lack of market share.
The Galaxy Note 10 will soon boost demand for Samsung’s flagships
Throughout the second half of the year demand for the Galaxy S10 series is naturally expected to drop. Fortunately, Samsung has two new flagship devices up its sleeves in the form of the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Pro.
The non-Pro model is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display while the larger variant will reportedly make use of a 6.75-inch panel. Despite the size differences, the two are set to adopt Infinity-O panels that are characterized by the presence of a small punch hole in the center.

Over on the rear, rumors suggest there will be a major change in direction for the Galaxy Note series. Specifically, the Note 10 and Note 10 Pro are set to ditch the horizontal camera setup Samsung has previously used in favor of a new vertical layout. Much like the Galaxy S10, both models look set to include triple-camera setups that include both telephoto and super-wide-angle lenses. However, as an added bonus, the Pro model should also gain a dedicated Time-of-Flight sensor.
