Perhaps the most interesting of the trio is the Galaxy A50, which will be available from Verizon starting on June 13th for $349.99. The 6.4-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display has a higher 1080 x 2340 resolution (FHD+). The Samsung Galaxy A line has sold impressively well with over $1 billion in sales
The Galaxy A50 has an in-display fingerprint scanner and a triple camera setup on the back. The latter features a 25MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 123-degree field of view, and a 5MP depth sensor. The AI-based Scene Optimizer feature can recognize 20 specific scenes and makes the appropriate adjustments to the camera settings automatically. The depth sensor will help users snap great portraits with the bokeh “blur” effect. And the front-facing selfie snapper weighs in at 25MP. This model also supports Samsung Pay, Bixby and more. Android 9 Pie is pre-installed.
Samsung created the Galaxy A line to replace the Galaxy J range. The new mid-rangers were designed to have large, immersive screens, versatile cameras, and all-day batteries. In addition, all Galaxy A models are released with Samsung’s new One UI interface that has most actionable options on the bottom of the screen. This is done so that users don’t have to dislocate their fingers trying to tap a button at the top of a large screen.

And with a full portfolio of products, there’s an A Series that’s right for anyone.”-Travis Warren, senior vice president of Carrier Sales and Operations, Samsung Electronics America
