Upset that Microsoft is no longer bringing window tabs to Windows 10? The new version of Groupy may be just what you need.

“Windows users get the experience they’ve been waiting for with Groupy,” Stardock general manager Angela Marshall says. “Users have become accustomed to organizing their browsing experience with tabs, so it makes sense to bring this functionality to the rest of Microsoft Windows.”

Groupy lets Windows users add tabs to any window in Windows 7, 8.x, and 10, much as you do in a web browser. But Groupy’s tabs are more powerful because each can contain any application.

Stardock announced Groupy in November 2017, ahead of Microsoft’s Sets announcement, and it then delivered the first version of this solution that December. It has been updated a few times since, including a March 2018 release that added the ability to save grouped windows.

Well, Microsoft has killed Sets. But Stardock is moving forward with Groupy, and the latest release, version 1.2, adds improved support for the latest versions of Microsoft Office and Windows 10.
