Surface Pro 3 Gets a Single Firmware Update

While Surface Book 2, Surface Pro 4, and Surface Laptop and Surface Pro (2017) all received massive sets of firmware updates in recent days, Surface Pro 3 received just a single update overnight.
In fact, this update appears to more closely mirror the day one firmware update that Surface Go received its launch last week. That update, called Surface UEFI – Firmware 1.0.3, aimed to improve “system stability.”
For Surface Pro 3, the update is called Surface UEFI – Firmware 3.11.2450.0. But it is designed to improve “device security.” Since there’s no blog post associated with this release—you can see it on the Surface Pro 3 Update History website only—it’s not clear if this is aimed at the Spectre and Meltdown processor vulnerabilities (as was the case with the Surface Book 2, Pro 4, Pro 2017, and Laptop).
Anyway, you can grab it via Windows Update as always.
