Tips and picks
Tip of the week: You can use your Xbox One controller on Android now
App pick of the week: Get the Pixel launcher(ish) on almost any Android handset
This is what I’ve always wanted on my OnePlus and Samsung devices.
Bonus pick: Modern Warfare 2 is on Xbox One Backward Compatibility.
Enterprise picks of the week: A couple new cloud tidbits – OneDrive and Skype (for Biz)
Microsoft announces OneDrive for Business features, calls it OneDrive, and confuses everyone. Again.
Microsoft Teams picks up “feature parity” with Skype for Business. Just kidding.
Codename pick of the week: TDBN (Tidbin)
Raymond Chen has a good post about some now-defunct Windows 8 codenames. At the time it was developed/introduced, a certain Windows boss tried to ban any fun codenames. So it’s cool to get to hear about Charms (which was a codename first); TDBN and “six pack.”
Beer pick of the week: Jack’s Abby House Lager
We’re coming up on Labor Day here in the U.S. You need some cookout beers. Why not try a craft lager? May I suggest one from my home town, Jack’s Abby in Framingham. They make a nice, basic, easy-drinking House Lager.
