Kind of a codename (maybe more like Contoso and Fabrikam?) … MS launches a new Enterprise Lab in the form of a virtual company (“Olympia Corp.”) for Windows 10 IT pro testers. Looking for real world testing capability for features like WDAG, Windows Hello for Business, O365, etc.
Codename pick of the week: Pendleton
Oooh. Thanks Walking Cat! I’ve been trying to find out what Pendleton was for a year. Pendleton is a tool for data preparation and cleaning and is targeted at Data Scientists. It may have a connection to MS Research project called PROgram Synthesis using Examples (PROSE), a k a programming by example. The thinking behind it: Data scientists spend 80% of their time extracting and cleaning data. And 99% of spreadsheet users do not know programming.
