Enterprise pick of the week: Microsoft Connect (); 2017
Since we talked a lot of developer stuff earlier in the show, why not tout its upcoming developer event for mid-November in NYC. This is primarily an online event. Lots of .NET, data science tool stuff (maybe some new AI tool add-ons to Visual Studio), VS Code, SQL Server and more. Register for free and watch on Nov. 15.
Codename pick of the week: CrystalNet/MirrorNet
Microsoft has built a mirror of its Azure network over the past two years so it can test before deploying into production hardware/software changes it plans to make to it. This is CrystalNet (possibly known as MirrorNet in a previous life).
Beer pick of the week: Tree House Green
A toast to JLG, who is leaving Microsoft after 25 years. In her honor, a true cult beer from the infamous Tree House (Charlton, Mass.). The Tree House Green is one of their beloved favorites: A perfect IPA (7.5% ABV), with lots of tropical fruit flavors.
