You Can Now Wake up to Spotify Songs on Android Because Of Course You Can

Google and Spotify are teaming up to bring a new update to the default Google Clock app on Android. The new update to the Clock app brings Spotify integration, which lets you choose any song you want as the alarm sound.
Google is calling these “musical alarms” which is just a fancy word for alarms with a song as the ringtone. The feature is available to both free and premium Spotify users, but you will be required to have the Spotify app installed and connected to an account for this to work. The feature is surprisingly well thought, letting users choose from their own playlists and music library, as well as Spotify’s curated morning playlists.
If you are someone who likes waking up to your favourite songs, this will definitely be a welcome change since you no longer have to manually pirate the song and set it as the alarm sound. Chances are, though, you’ll likely get bored of that song real quick if it’s the only thing you wake up to every day.
